Brewer in Denver halts unprofitable distribution efforts

DENVER – Tivoli Distributing Co. in Denver, which has distributed beer for craft breweries for the past six years, is closing its distributing operations within 60 days.

Business Den reports that chief executive Ken Hehir said the company will make structural changes and concentrate solely on brewing because the distributing arm was not profitable.

Elite Brands of Colorado and High Country Beverage will start distributing the Tivoli beer brand on June 18. He said Tovoli is helping its customers make other arrangements to distribute their beer.
