Urban Land Institute forms Northern Colorado committee
FORT COLLINS — The Urban Land Institute has formed a Northern Colorado committee, which will celebrate its launch with an event in Fort Collins from 3 to 7 p.m., May 24, starting at the new Elizabeth Hotel, 111 Chestnut St.
The event will feature tours of the new projects in downtown Fort Collins and a panel discussion between their developers. Featured projects include the Elizabeth Hotel, Ginger and Baker, the Exchange, and Washington’s. The city of Fort Collins and the Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority will discuss how these and other planned developments are re-shaping Fort Collins.
The Urban Land Institute is the oldest and largest network of real estate and land-use experts in the world. The organization helps to set standards in the land-development business. Colorado has a chapter, and the new Northern Colorado committee is part of the statewide organization.

From 3:30 to 5 p.m., participants will tour the downtown Fort Collins projects, after which the group will reconvene at the hotel for the panel discussion. A social hour will close out the event.
