CSU masters students sue university over unfulfilled promise
FORT COLLINS — Students in Colorado State University’s landscape architecture program have sued the school because the university failed to seek accreditation of its masters program as it had promised.
According to a report in BusinessDen, 12 students filed the suit March 20 in Denver District Court. They claim that the university recruited them for the masters of landscape architecture program on the promise that the program would be accredited after the first graduating class completed coursework. The program was not accredited and, in fact, shut down the program.
The program graduated students for about five years, ending in May 2017, BusinessDen reported.
