Rockies donate $60K to Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County

The Colorado Rockies Charity Fund will contribute $60,000 to Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County.

The Colorado Rockies Charity Fund will present the donation during a Rockies Caravan stop on Jan. 13 at the Colorado State University Stadium.

The Rockies Caravan will include current roster players Tyler Anderson, Mike Dunn, Tom Murphy and Trevor Story, along with Rockies television analyst Jeff Huson and members of the Rockies front office staff.

“We are honored to partner with the Colorado Rockies and Colorado State University,” Kaycee Headrick, executive director of the Boys & Girls Clubs said in a prepared statement. “We live in an amazing community that believes in giving back and supporting the youth who need our services. We are grateful that there is a strong alignment to help our future generations.”

Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need help most, to reach their full potential. The clubs provide out-of-school service for young people ages 6 to 18 years old.
