BROOMFIELD — The Westminster-based Butterfly Pavilion is planning a $30 million research facility in Broomfield.
The Center for Invertebrae Research and Conservation is planned for the North Park neighborhood and would open in 2021, according to BusinessDen.
The Butterfly Pavillion holds 5,000 butterflies and insects in Westminster. The 30,000 square foot space must cover exhibits and research and has become too small for scientists. The new location would span 60,000 square feet and have more room for exhibits and research.
