Northern Colorado MD now available

Northern Colorado MD, the medical directory for Larimer and Weld counties, has been published and can be viewed here.

The annual directory contains comprehensive lists of hospitals, clinics and other health care providers throughout the region. It contains information about specialties, numbers of health care providers at institutions, and names of key contacts.

In addition, the directory contains content about top-of-mind subjects in the health-care industry. Among the topics covered this year is the double-edged issue of staffing. On one side, residents of the region and beyond have myriad opportunities to work within the health-care industry because of the opening of medical facilities such as the new UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, the new Banner facility in Fort Collins and the under-construction UCHealth hospital in Greeley. But on the other side, the low unemployment rate in the region, combined with the expansion of facilities, has made recruiting challenging.
