Cannabis biotech company raises $750,000

DENVER — Next Frontier Biosciences, a company that specializes in cannabinoid products for chronic pain treatment, has raised $750,000.

The company plans to raise $2 million, according to a Form D filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission on Sept. 1.

Next Frontier did not return a request for comment. The company is offering equity to raise the funds, according to the Form D.
