Bravo! Entrepreneur winners announced Wednesday

LOVELAND – Bill Markham, owner and operator of M&M Farms of Berthoud, was named the Lifetime Achievement Award winner in the BizWest-sponsored Bravo! Entrepreneur recognition Wednesday morning. Markham and his family operate a highly regarded grain farm that produces for companies such as MillerCoors.

Markham was joined on stage by the other award winners, including:

Tony Wampler, board chair of The NOCO Manufacturing Partnership, which received the Regional Spirit Award.

Ways to thank a caregiver

Byron Collins, developer of neighborhoods such as Harmony Club, Willow Springs and Paragon Point, received the Bravo award given to entrepreneurs in outlying areas.

Christina Dawkins, owner of Co’s Auto Group, a BMW and Mini dealership, received the Bravo award for Loveland entrepreneurs.

Dean Herl, owner of Noffsinger Manufacturing, uses Colorado steel to build harvesting equipment such as conveyors for the vegetable produce and sugar industries. Herl’s company is Greeley-based.

Jim Quinlan, owner of Jax Mercantile in Fort Collins, has retail stores selling outdoor industry, farm and ranch products.

Neil Fisher, operator of WeldWorks, a craft brewer based in Greeley, received the Emerging Entrepreneur award. To qualify for this award, companies have to be less than 5 years old. WeldWorks is on a fast growth curve and will brew more than 5,000 barrels of beer this year.
