New distillery to open on South Broadway in Denver

DENVER — A new distillery five years in the making has plans to open at 240 S. Broadway in October.

Ron Traver owns the building, which also houses Bardo Coffee, and decided to open Denver Distillery, BusinessDen reports.

The idea wasn’t as easy as he originally thought: He had to fight to get the distillery opened in a commercial retail area rather than the typical industrial zoned area.

Solar Operations and Maintenance for Commercial Properties

One key qualification to consider when selecting a solar partner to install your system is whether they have an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) or service department. Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.

Traver has spent $850,000 on the project and remains the sole owners. The 1,500-square-foot main area will seat 50 people and will include a full bar. The distillery will make liqueur, moonshine, rum and gin immediately and has plans to make vodka, whiskey and absinthe in the future. There are also plans to add patio seating.

Denver Distillery will be open Tuesday through Sunday and will host free scheduled tours.
