MWH Global teams up for nearly $1B San Francisco project

BROOMFIELD – MWH Global, a consulting, environmental engineering and construction company with headquarters in Broomfield, will partner with Webcor Builders of San Francisco to replace the outdated Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant in San Francisco.

The Broomfield Enterprise reports that the two companies were awarded a $939 million contract to upgrade San Francisco’s a water-treatment plant with a new pollution-control system.

The plant, which was built in 1952, treats 80 percent of San Francisco’s sewage and storm water flows.
