Four companies selected for UpRamp’s second Fiterator program
LOUISVILLE — CableLabs’ UpRamp has announced the members of its second cohort for the Fiterator, an accelerator program geared toward validating startups in the broadband and cable industry.
Four companies were selected for the Fiterator, which will help develop and perfect their ideas and secure them at least one deal with a company in the cable and broadband industry.

- King & Union — A cybersecurity company that establishes a threat-intelligence sharing solution that breaks down silos and allows cyber threat teams to collaborate on finding fixes. The Alexandria, Va.-based company uses its own platform, Avalon, for custom analytics.
- Bansen Labs — Focused on technology for those with disabilities, this Pittsburgh company creates technology that can be placed on wheelchairs, otherwise known as assistive technology. Its product, Xogo, uses assistive technology to connect to cable boxes, gaming consoles and toys so those with disabilities can use them too.
- DeviceBits — This Columbus, Ohio company brings artificial intelligence to customer service.
- Teltoo — Based in Madrid, this company’s technology is designed to improve video streaming and remove buffering, while also using less bandwidth and costing less than other options.
The program will take place this fall.
