Boulder Chamber seeks applicants for Esprit Venture Challenge

BOULDER — The Boulder Chamber is seeking submissions for its third annual Esprit Venture Challenge, a pitch competition for aspiring startups less than two years old.

The contest, presented by the Colorado Public Employees’ Retirement Association, will end in $10,000 being presented to the winning entrepreneur.

The competition has three rounds — online public voting, a judging panel and a live final pitch at the Boulder Chamber’s Esprit Entrepreneur event Oct. 25.

Second and third place winners will receive cash prizes.

Those interested can apply online by Aug. 31. Registered startups who are less than two years old and have received less than $1 million in funding and revenue are eligible. Companies that are socially responsible and contribute to Boulder’s overall economy will receive extra credit.
