Retirement community planned for Fort Collins

Another retirement community is planned for Fort Collins.

The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports that Avamere Health Services, based in Wilsonville, Ore., will build a continuing-care retirement community in southeast Fort Collins, across from the Banner Fort Collins Medical Center. The facility will offer independent living (150 units), assisted living (90 units) and memory-care services (60 units).

Additionally, the site will feature multiple restaurants and common space.
