Advantage Bank offers free seminar on cybersecurity

LOVELAND — Advantage Bank will host a free seminar about cybersecurity April 25 at the Embassy Suites in Loveland.

The seminar will feature a presentation by Tyler Leet, director of risk and compliance services for Computer Services Inc., who will provide an overview of the current cybersecurity landscape, including tips on how to avoid a cyber attack at home or work.

“Cyber attacks are becoming more common, and anyone who is online can be a victim,” said John Nigh, Advantage Bank’s chief executive. “We’ve had customers who have been impacted by ransomware and other types of online fraud, so we thought it would be beneficial to offer this seminar and hopefully help others reduce the risk of a potential cyber attack.”

The seminar is the first in a new series of free events that the bank plans to offer to its customers and noncustomers.

The event will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, at the Embassy Suites, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway, Loveland.

Registration is required. To learn more and register, visit www.advantagebanks.com/events.
