GREELEY — Technical Framework, a full-services information technology company in Fort Collins, has opened an office in Greeley.
The second office is meant to meet an increasing demand the company has had for work in Weld County.
If you have driven by a dispensary recently, you might have noticed some business operations taking place outside. But, why is that; and what other changes has the cannabis industry seen since March?
“We’ve been doing computer support in Greeley for a number of years,” said founder Ali Harris. “Demand is increasing, and we thought we’d have a better opportunity to service the customers we have and new customers if we had a location within that proximity.”
The new office is located at 1120 38th Ave. in Bittersweet Plaza. Harris said of the 13 employees he has, who will be in the Fort Collins office and who will be in Greeley will be based on each project. Technical Framework provides computer tech support for multiple devices, support for Web design and development, networks and servers as well as data security.
Technical Framework, which was founded in 2010, started doing work in Greeley in 2012. Since then, the amount of work and customers in the area has increased.
“We’re seeing a need for computer services on the increase,” Harris said. “There are a number of areas that are underserved, and cybersecurity is one of them. Greeley specifically is seeing an increase in demand of computer services because of growing industries there, oil and gas being one of them. It’s causing demand for all types of services, and computer services are necessary to administer a growing business.”
