Soldout crowd honors 40 under Forty class of 2017

LAFAYETTE — A sold-out crowd of 300 gathered Tuesday to induct the Boulder Valley 40 Under Forty class of 2017.

The annual awards ceremony is presented by BizWest and recognizes the best and brightest of emerging leaders in Boulder and Broomfield counties. They were honored at an evening event at the Lionsgate Event Center, 1055 S. 112th St., in Lafayette.

Honorees were chosen who have made an impact on his or her organization, live or work in Boulder or Broomfield counties, have received professional recognition for significant achievements in the community and have worked to help others through community service and charitable giving.

Ways to thank a caregiver

If you have a caregiver or know someone who has been serving as a primary caregiver, March 3rd is the day to reach out and show them how much they are valued!

Nominations were submitted by the business community, and honorees were selected by a committee comprised of alumni.

“We have a truly outstanding class for 2017,” said BizWest editor and publisher Christopher Wood, who emceed the event. “It’s amazing to hear of the accomplishments of these individuals, and their work with charitable causes is inspiring.”
