Micro Motion buys 5.5 acres near Boulder campus

BOULDER — Micro Motion Inc. has purchased about 5.5 acres of vacant land across the street from its main campus in Gunbarrel, though the company’s plans for the site remain unclear at this point.

Micro Motion paid $2,125,000 for the adjacent properties at 6800 and 6949 Winchester Circle. Northview Properties II LLC and Northview Properties III LLC, entities managed by Scott Reichenberg and Susan Chrisman, were the sellers.

Micro Motion, a division of Emerson Process Management, makes flow- and density-measurement devices used in a wide range of industries.

WomenGive, a program of United Way of Larimer County, was started in Larimer County in 2006 as an opportunity for women in our community to come together to help other women.

A Micro Motion official declined to comment on the company’s plans for the newly purchased land. But an application has been filed with the city of Boulder to consolidate the two lots into one.

Micro Motion owns its main site at 7060 Winchester, as well as a 35,000-square-foot warehouse across the street. In 2014, Micro Motion also leased more than 10,000 square feet at 6899 Winchester, doubling its space in that building.
