Broomfield inks new agreement with Extraction Oil & Gas
With its moratorium on hydraulic fracturing now defunct, the city of Broomfield is figuring out how to work with oil and gas companies that aim to drill in the community.
The Broomfield Enterprise reports that city council this week approved changes to an existing memorandum of understanding with Extraction Oil & Gas LLC that will allow the company to cut its number of local well sites from 10 to three. The company will also be able to reclaim 26 existing wells.
