Padilla planning mixed-use for run-down Old Town site in Fort Collins
A rundown 3-acre of land in Old Town Fort Collins could soon start to see new life in the form of a major redevelopment.
The Coloradoan reports that local developer J.D. Padilla has preliminary plans for a mixed-use project at the site — which lies along College Avenue between Cherry and Maple streets — that includes 60,000 square feet of commercial space and 180 apartments. The site was formerly home to a tire store, Taco John’s and the Fort Collins Bike Co-op.
