Kroger files plans for redevelopment of Fort Collins KMart site
Grocery giant Kroger appears poised with plans to finally move forward with redevelopment plans for the KMart building at 2535 S. College Ave.
The Coloradoan reports that Kroger, which bought the property in 2009, has filed plans with the city of Fort Collins to tear down the existing building and put in its place a new 123,419-square-foot King Soopers grocery store that would replace an existing King Soopers less than half that size just to the north.
