UCHealth acquires Front Range Cancer Specialists
FORT COLLINS — University of Colorado Health has acquired Fort Collins-based Front Range Cancer Specialists.
Financial terms of the transaction, which closed Friday, were not announced.
Front Range Cancer Specialists’ five providers — Drs. Farah Datko, Ross McFarland, Diana Medgvesy and James Moore, as well as certified family nurse practitioner Amy Wing and the clinics support staff — have moved two blocks west from the clinic’s former office at 2315 E. Harmony Road, Unit 110, to the UCHealth Cancer Center at 2121 E. Harmony Road, Suite 170.
“Our transition to UCHealth will create a stronger, more consolidated oncology group that will provide the most integrative, multidisciplinary cancer care in northern Colorado,” said Medgyesy, FRCS’ medical director, in a prepared statement. “Our patients will thrive under the enhanced supportive services currently available at the Cancer Center: education, genetic counseling, clinical research, emotional support, financial counseling, nutrition, massage and physical therapy to name a few, all under one roof.”
