CSU Collegiate Challenge extends deadline for entrepreneurs

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State University Collegiate Challenge officials have extended the application deadline for the student business pitch competition by a week to March 6.

The competition is open to current students and recent graduates (within the last 12 months) of accredited colleges and universities in 10 states: Colorado, Arizona, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming.

BizWest reported in January that CSU was spinning off the collegiate competition from the $250,000 Blue Ocean Enterprises Challenge. The winner of the CSU Collegiate Challenge, however, does earn a spot in one of the Blue Ocean Enterprises Challenge regional competitions for a shot at the national finals and the grand prize.
