Ways to thank a caregiver

If you have a caregiver or know someone who has been serving as a primary caregiver, March 3rd is the day to reach out and show them how much they are valued!

Anderson may be checking out, but he isn’t leaving. He will continue working for Hotel Boulderado as a part-time adviser and consultant, helping guide renovations for the hotel planned for 2016 and 2017.

During his time as general manager, Anderson led a number of changes to the building that opened in 1909, including a complete renovation in 1982 and two additions in the 1980s.

“My greatest achievement was having the opportunity and accomplishing what was needed to make Hotel Boulderado a grand hotel, a local and national landmark both economically and sustainably viable,” Anderson said in a prepared statement.

Frank Day and his partners at Concept Restaurants purchased the hotel in 1980.

“His (Anderson’s) passion for excellence, never-ending attention to detail and vision of how a worn-out and beat-up property could become the leading hotel in Boulder have led us to achieve that goal,” Day said in a prepared statement.

One of Lindgren’s first major tasks at the Boulderado is overseeing the renovation project that kicked off this week. The renovation is phase one of two phases and includes the annex building with 114 guestrooms and suites and the Event Center with 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The Hotel Boulderado has a total of 160 guestrooms and suites and 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The next phase will include the mezzanine and lobby.

Lindgren most recently served as general manager of Concept’s Table Mountain Inn, a boutique hotel in downtown Golden, and she oversaw Quality Inn Louisville, the newest hotel in the company’s portfolio and located in Louisville.

Lindgren is the 2015-2016 president of Destination Colorado, a nonprofit organization that promotes Colorado as a premiere place to hold meetings and events and provides resources and information for planners. She also has served on the board of directors of Meeting Professionals International Rocky Mountain Chapter.
