Albuquerque firm buys Loveland-based Frink & Associates
LOVELAND — Albuquerque-based VaughnCPA on Monday announced that it has purchased Loveland-based Frink & Associates PC.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Frink and Associates will be renamed VaughnCPA. Ron Frink opened his accounting practice in 1986 and services small businesses — including restaurants, retailers and small manufacturing companies — along the Front Range. He will serve as a consultant with VaughnCPA.
The timing was right,” Frink said in a prepared statement. “I’ve been wanting to slow down, but not necessarily close up the practice. After 45 years, it’s time to concentrate on the part of the business I really enjoy — spending time with people discussing business problems and issues. The purchase by the Vaughns has made it possible for me to maintain my involvement with clients I’ve been helping for 40 years and move away from the day to day.”

“Joining firms is a great fit for Ron, his longtime staff and us,” said Shirley Vaughn, VaughnCPA principal. “We both serve similar kinds and sizes of clients, use the same accounting software, and many of the same time-tested procedures to ensure that our clients receive the care and service they deserve.” Vaughn said she plans add to the staff in Loveland.
Founded in 1976, Vaughn CPA offers tax preparation and planning; accounting; financial audits, reviews and compilations; nonprofit accounting and form filing;
estate and business-succession planning; business analysis and system set ups.
