Boulder’s Dairy Center shortens name as renovation continues

BOULDER — The Dairy Center for the Arts, still in the midst of a $4.3 million renovation, has changed its name to the Dairy Arts Center.

“The Dairy is no longer a center for the arts. It is Boulder’s arts center,” said executive director Bill Obermeier. “So we’ve eliminated a ‘for’ and two ‘thes’ and are now simply Dairy Arts Center. We remain proud of the fact we are housed in a repurposed, historic dairy, and with our renovation we can now emphasize the arts that happen here every day of the year.
