Regal Cinemas appeals liquor-license denial for new Longmont theater
Regal Cinemas, which last month opened a new 12-screen movie theater at Longmont’s Village at the Peaks shopping center, is appealing a municipal judge’s decision to deny a liquor license for the theater.
The Times-Call reports that Regal filed the appeal in Boulder County District Court, arguing that the original ruling “was arbitrary and capricious and is contrary to Colorado law.” Regal is seeking to serve beer and wine at the theater.
