Oskar Blues opening Hotbox Roasters coffee shop in Denver
LONGMONT — Six months after launching its own line of coffee, Longmont-based Oskar Blues Brewery is opening its first coffee shop — and adding doughnuts to its repertoire.
Oskar Blues officials announced on Wednesday that they plan to open a Hotbox Roasters location at 3490 Larimer St. in Denver in May. The shop will sit next door to a Chuburger hamburger restaurant that Oskar Blues announced earlier this year it plans to open in early 2016.
Along with Hotbox Roasters coffee — which includes varieties such as Bolivia Newton John, Frank Sumatra and Kenya Dig It — the new coffee shop in Denver’s trendy River North district will also sell homemade doughnuts.
