Colorado approves $428,171 in incentives for company eyeing Weld County
DENVER — The Colorado Economic Development Commission on Thursday approved a $428,171 incentive package for a company considering building a new facility in Weld County that would bring 56 new jobs over eight years.
The unnamed company, nicknamed Project Bonanza, is a publicly traded company based in California that provides business operating and support services. The company already has 108 employees at a Denver location where it leases nearly 40,000 square feet of space.
The company has maxed out existing space and is looking to invest $11 million in building a new 60,000-square-foot custom facility that would serve the Mountain West region and house the company’s existing and new employees in Colorado.

Aside from Weld County, the company is also considering Adams County and Wyoming for the new facility.
The new jobs generated would pay an average annual wage of $49,839, which is 104 percent of Adam’s County’s average annual wage and 112 percent of Weld County’s average annual wage according to EDC officials.
