Boulder Valley election: Boulder voters reject growth measures 300, 301
City of Boulder voters on Tuesday night rejected a pair of contentious growth-related ballot questions by a 3-2 margin.
As of 1:23 a.m. Wednesday morning, roughly 87 percent of Boulder County ballots had been counted. At that time, nearly 62 percent of Boulder voters had voted against Question No. 300, which would have allowed neighborhoods the right to vote on land-use regulation changes. Question 301, dubbed the “Development Shall Pay Its Own Way” measure, would have imposed greater impact fees on development within the city, but that measure was failing with nearly 61 percent of voters against it.
