Polis to lead Startup Day Across America with tour of local companies

Rep. Jared Polis this week will lead elected officials across the country in celebrating Startup Day Across America, with stops planned across the Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado.

Started by Polis (D-Colo.) and Rep. Darrell Issa (D-Calif.) in 2013, Startup Day Across America aims to connect lawmakers with startups in their communities and highlight both the innovation those companies produce and the challenges they face.

Startup Day Across America is officially Wednesday, though Polis has three days of stops lined up.
