Solar Operations and Maintenance for Commercial Properties

One key qualification to consider when selecting a solar partner to install your system is whether they have an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) or service department. Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.

At the center, the nursing staff assesses patients for signs and symptoms of withdrawal, and provides appropriate care and medication.

The nonprofit also has built a 5,000-square-foot multipurpose pavilion that will house a commercial kitchen and dining room, and will be used for events.

Dot Dorman, Harmony’s chief executive, said the organization financed the construction and is still raising funds to help pay for it. So far, the nonprofit has raised $250,000 from individuals. It also received a $100,000 grant from the Hope Fund, of which $20,000 was earmarked to pay for two living rooms for the center, one for men and one for women. The remaining $80,000 will be used for scholarships.

Dohn Construction Inc. of Fort Collins was the general contractor, and Steve Lane of Bas1s Architecture in Longmont designed the facility.

Dorman said Dohn Construction and Lane did a remarkable job of blending the new buildings in with the older structures on the campus.
