Construction begins on 67,000-square-foot AltaVita Assisted Living facility in Longmont
LONGMONT — A new 66,939-square-foot assisted-living facility in Longmont is slated for completion in June 2016 after breaking ground earlier this month.
Macy Development Co. began construction July 14 on AltaVita Assisted Living, a 67-room facility that will sit next to Macy’s existing AltaVitaMemory Care Centre at 800 S. Fordham St.
The assisted-living center will be a two-story building with four residential wings. It will include 34 studios, 29 one-bedroom units and four companion suites.
