33entrepreneurs wine, food and tourism pitch contest to visit Boulder on Thursday

Boulder is one of nine U.S. cities selected to participate in a contest for startups pitching technology innovations for the wine, food and travel industries. The local pitch contest will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday on the fifth floor at Galvanize Boulder, 1035 Pearl St.

33entrepreneurs, a wine, food and tourism tech startup accelerator based in Bordeaux, France, will hold one grand finale in San Francisco on Oct. 24, coinciding with the Bon Appétech conference and showcasing the most talented and promising teams and startups in food innovation. In Miami in November, the Phocuswight Conference will host the most talented startups 33entrepreneurs met on the tour to challenge them and select the best travel-tech startups.

The Boulder session will start with a meeting of selected startups and judges at 3, followed by a welcoming drink at 6, the contest at 6:30, a question-and-answer session with the jury members at 7:30 and the grans prize announcement at 8.

Winners of the finales in San Francisco and Miami will receive $100,000 cash prizes.
