PizzaRev holding job fair to fill 35 positions at new Boulder restaurant

BOULDER — The local franchisees of fast-casual restaurant PizzaRev will be holding a job fair in July, with the aim of filling 35 full- and part-time positions for a new Boulder location.

Randy Chilton — along with his wife, Deanna, and their partner, Doug Koch — is aiming to open at least four PizzaRev locations in the Boulder Valley. The job fair for the Boulder location will be held onsite at the restaurant at 1650 28th St. on July 27, 28 and 29, with the opening date for the site set for Aug. 13.

PizzaRev allows customers to order a custom 11-inch pizza, selecting from more than 30 toppings and multiple sauces on a crust of homemade dough.

Ways to thank a caregiver

If you have a caregiver or know someone who has been serving as a primary caregiver, March 3rd is the day to reach out and show them how much they are valued!

Officials for the Twenty Ninth Street shopping center announced in March that PizzaRev would be taking 1,778 square feet at 1650 28th St., between a Smashburger restaurant and a Verizon Wireless store in a former MassageEnvy space. The PizzaRev will have a seating capacity of about 42, though it will be a little smaller than the other local stores. Chilton said that, in general, he’s aiming for 2,000 to 2,500 square feet.

Chilton aims to open a PizzaRev at 520 W. South Boulder Road at the intersection of U.S. Highway 287 and South Boulder Road either late in the fourth quarter of this year or early in the first quarter of next year.

He said he and his partners have been eyeing Longmont, Broomfield and Westminster as other possible locations. The group has the rights to open four restaurants now, but said the Denver area could eventually be a 15- to 20-restaurant market for PizzaRev.

“It’s going to be a high-growth category,” Chilton said.

Editor’s note: This story was updated on June 24 to reflect PizzaRev’s change in the opening date for the Boulder restaurant from Aug. 1 to Aug. 13, and to include specific dates for the job fair, which had not yet been set at the time this story was published.
