A virtual job fair for veterans will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 5.
Get My Vet a Job, founded by Michele Unangast and based in Gilbert, Ariz., has coordinated the event with companies across the country that collectively have 3,000 job openings, including 200 jobs in Colorado.

As the economic effects of COVID-19 continue, many people struggle to afford groceries. The UCHealth Family Medicine Center food pantry provides fresh, healthy food to those suffering from food insecurity and needs your support.
Companies operating in Colorado that are participating include Intel Corp., UPS, Camping World Inc., C.R. England Inc., Sendgrid Inc., Accenture LLP and Eaton Corp.
Veterans, transitioning military members and spouses are eligible to sign up for the free fair at www.jobfairfriday.com. Interviews with hiring managers will be done virtually.
“Our mission on June 5th is #3000Strong, which means 3,000 veterans will become employed on a single day at one single career fair,” Unangast said in a prepared statement. “We have partnered with employers committed to hiring veterans and transitioning military members, understanding the skills they bring to their job openings.”
Registered job seekers can participate in workshops by industry experts in the areas of telecommuting, interviewing, social media and job searching.
