BROOMFIELD – The TownPlace Suites by Marriott in Broomfield has been sold for $16.5 million, according to Broomfield County public records.
The entity Bre Avalanche Property Owner LLC purchased the extended-stay hotel at 480 Flatiron Blvd. from TPS Broom LLC, which had purchased the property in 2012 for $13.2 million.

The 151-unit hotel was built in 2000. It has studio, one- and two-bedroom suites featuring kitchens, living areas, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi.
Bre Avalanche Property Owner’s principal office is listed as 345 Park Ave. in New York, in care of Blackstone Real Estate Advisors, according to documents filed with the Colorado Secretary of State’s office.
Blackstone Real Estate Advisors, a division of the Blackstone Group, is a real estate investment firm specializing in commercial real estate, owning offices, warehouse and distribution centers, shopping centers and hotels.
Calls to Blackstone Real Estate Advisors on Monday were not returned.
