Longmont’s Village at the Peaks signs 6 more tenants

LONGMONT — Six more retailers have signed leases at the Village at the Peaks, a $90 million redevelopment of the former Twin Peaks mall site along South Hover Road in Longmont.

Leases with Party City, T-Mobile, VisionWorks, SuperCuts, Chuck & Don’s Pet Food and Supplies, and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop will occupy 29,840 square feet of retail space, according to statement released Monday by Fort Collins-based developer NewMark Merrill Mountain States.

With these leases, more than 365,600 square feet of the 490,000-square-foot center has been committed to retailers, which represents about 75 percent of the proposed square footage.

Party City, a specialty party goods chain, will move from its current location at 900 S. Hover Road, just north of the shopping center. The new location will expand its current space by 65 percent.

The shopping center now has 18 tenants, including previously announced retailers Sam’s Club, The Sports Authority, Whole Foods Market, Regal Cinemas, Wyatt’s Wine & Spirits, Gold’s Gym, Parry’s Pizza, Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, Verizon Wireless, Luxury Nails and Spa, the Melt and Pacific Dental.

Designed with a National Parks theme, Village at the Peaks will have an open-air environment with fountains, lakes, fireplaces, park pockets, and places for kids and families to play.
