FoCo downtown board starts search for leader

FORT COLLINS – The group that promotes downtown Fort Collins has hired a management firm to run its day-to-day business while it hunts for a new executive director.

Fort Collins-based Third Sector Enterprises will manage the Downtown Business Association on an interim basis and lead a strategic-planning process in early 2015, according to a media release issued by the DBA on Monday. Current director Michael Short will serve out the remainder of his contract, which expires on Jan. 14, but will stay on as a consultant through mid-April.
