More residential solar installed in Colorado during 3Q
Statewide residential solar installations have increased almost 30 percent during the third quarter compared with the same period a year earlier, according to a report from the Solar Energy Industries Association.
More than 16 megawatts of residential solar were installed during the third quarter, up from 12.5 megawatts during the third quarter of last year, according to the report issued this week. The uptick came from the solar investment tax credit, net metering and renewable energy standards, said Rhone Resch, chief executive of the solar industry group.
