Zayo to acquire IdeaTek’s network in Kansas

BOULDER — Zayo Group LLC, a subsidiary of Boulder-based Zayo Group Holdings Inc., a provider of bandwidth infrastructure services, has agreed to acquire the carrier and enterprise segment of Kansas-based IdeaTek Systems Inc.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed in documents filed Dec. 4 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Buhler, Kan. based IdeaTek will retain its residential and small-commercial divisions, and will continue to operate under the name IdeaTek Telecom LLC. The IdeaTek transaction will be funded with cash on hand and is anticipated to close early in 2015.
