The event comes during a month of veteran-geared activities in Colorado. Gov. John Hickenlooper on Monday declared November “Hire a Veteran Month” to help highlight the services the Department of Labor and Employment makes available to veterans.

A full list of workshops and hiring events taking place statewide is available on the department’s events calendar at www.colorado.gov/cdle. The state has also set up www.hireacoloradovet.gov to help employers and veterans connect.
