Advance Longmont to be topic at LAEC breakfast
LONGMONT — Andy Bade, chairman of the Longmont Area Economic Council, and Harold Dominquez, Longmont’s city manager, will speak Thursday about Advance Longmont, the blueprint to consolidate the efforts of the two organizations to promote economic development in Longmont.
The talk will take place at 7:30 a.m., Oct. 16, during the LAEC’s Partner Series Breakfast at the Plaza Convention Center, 1850 Industrial Circle in Longmont.
The talks will be followed by a panel discussion on the topic.

The LAEC is in negotiations with a candidate to fill the organization’s CEO/president position. Nafziger, the organization’s longtime vice president, has been interim president since John Cody resigned from the post in August 2013 to take a similar job in Thornton.
