12 breweries from region take home GABF hardware

DENVER – Talk about an encore.

For the second year in a row, Longmont’s Left Hand Brewing Co. took home three medals from the Great American Beer Festival on Saturday at the Colorado Convention Center.

This time it was three silvers after last year’s haul of three golds. That left Left Hand just shy of Midsize Brewery of the Year honors for the second year in a row as well. Devil’s Backbone Brewing of Roseland, Va., took that honor this year.
