BOULDER – Veterans and people with disabilities seeking work in the northern Front Range will have the opportunity to speak directly with employers at the Veterans and Disabilities Job Fair Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Boulder.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research’s Center Green campus at 3080 Center Green Drive.

The job fair is co-sponsored by UCAR, Workforce Boulder County and the Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

The fair will feature 16 area organizations that are looking to fill nearly 400 positions in the next six to 12 months. The positions are in the areas of administration, food service, manufacturing, security, computing (hardware and software), and supervisory positions, said Nancy Wade of UCAR’s human resources department.

Representatives from the following employers will be onsite to talk about available positions:

AlliedBarton Security, Alpine Lumber, Ball Corp., Bureau of Reclamation, Dairy Farmers of America, Doubletree Hotels, GE Energy Control Solutions, HUB International Limited, KeyPoint Government Solutions, Longmont United Hospital, Neon, Safeway, Staples, StoneRiver Inc., Terumo BTC and University of Colorado-Boulder.

Workforce Boulder County staff and DVR will also be on hand to provide information about their programs and services.
