Julie Herman stepped down Aug. 23 as executive director of the Boulder-based Colorado Green Building Guild. Sandra Weeks, president of the guild’s board of directors and owner of Blue Spruce Design and Construction, said Ann Livingston will serve as interim executive director and strategic consultant while the board looks for Herman’s permanent replacement. Livingston previously was the sustainability coordinator for Boulder County and served on the guild’s board of directors. BANKING, FINANCE
Boulder-based investment firm Revelry Brands hired Gil Fronzaglia as chief operating officer and Seth Beers as chief financial officer. Most recently, Fronzaglia was chief operating officer at Food Should Taste Good, a natural tortilla chip company. Beers was CFO and COO at PACT Apparel. Revelry’s investments include PACT, Only Natural Pet Store, EVOL Foods and Siggi’s Dairy. First National Bank named Polly Buster as its corporate lender for its Boulder County market, which includes branches in Boulder, Longmont and along the U.S. Highway 36 corridor. Most recently, Buster was a relationship manager for Guaranty Bank & Trust in its commercial lending department in Longmont. Boulder-based MBio Diagnostics Inc., a diagnostics and life sciences company, appointed Robert J. Silverman to its board of directors. Silverman served as the CEO of mtm Laboratories AG, an in-vitro diagnostics company that developed and commercialized a portfolio of products for early detection and diagnosis of cervical cancer. Boulder Public Library director Valerie Maginnis will retire effective Sept. 20 after 33 years of public service. Maginnis was named library and arts director in June 2011 after serving as director of library and cultural services for the city of Mission Viejo, California. During her tenure at the Boulder Public Library, her team implemented an emerging public art program, a community-driven vision for the renovation of the Main Library and earned a national designation as a Family Place Library. Broomfield-based Webroot Inc., a software Internet security firm, promoted John Post from vice president of finance to chief financial officer, Jeff Santelices from vice president of strategic alliances to senior vice president of worldwide field operations, and Melanie Williams from senior director of human relations to vice president of human relations. Scott Merkle was hired as vice president of enterprise sales and OEM sales. He previously was vice president of business development for BrightPoint. Boulder-based VisionLink, a provider of software and services for nonprofits, named Lori Warrens senior director of community solutions. Warrens will guide VisionLink’s international humanitarian efforts and direct ongoing efforts to further develop industry-leading solutions for 211 and overall information and referral efforts. 211 is a national phone number, pioneered by Warrens, used by community organizations like United Way to connect people to essential human services, community programs and volunteer opportunities in areas such as training, food pantries, addiction prevention programs and affordable housing options. Louisville-based Inovonics Wireless Corp. hired Gary Kallman as senior vice president of global sales. Kallman has experience in building and leading sales teams in a variety of business-to-business industries.
