Business coalition opposes Fort Collins fracking ban
More than 50 Northern Colorado business leaders and dozens of Fort Collins residents submitted a petition to Council members urging them to vote no on fracking ban proposals. The Council is scheduled to consider a ban at its meeting Tuesday.
“I joined this petition drive to show members of the Fort Collins City Council that there is broad support for responsible oil and gas development within our community,´ said Sean Dougherty, broker associate for Re/Max Alliance in Fort Collins.

Other businesses and groups signing the petition included North Fort Collins Business Association, Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance, Cache Bank and Trust, Fort Collins Truck Schools, Book Center of the Rockies Inc. and Big O Tires.
