Synergy plans 16 more wells in Weld County

PLATTEVILLE – Synergy Resources Corp. said Monday it has drilled 31 wells in Weld County since last summer and plans 16 more before the end of August.

Currently leasing 16,000 gross acres in the D.J. Basin, the Platteville-based company said its drilling program has delivered “strong results” and that 2012 could mark a record company drilling year.

“For our small public company, we are extremely active,´ said Craig Rasmuson, Synergy vice president of operations and production.
