PVHS donates $100,000 Weld Food Bank

GREELEY – Poudre Valley Health System will donate $100,000 to Weld Food Bank for the purchase of a new 18-foot truck for the transportation of hot food.

The refrigerated box truck also will be used for emergency victims and responders, to expand services in the 4,000 square miles of Weld County and to expand its Backpack and Kids Cafe programs.

“We’re committed to serving the needs of the community,´ said Russ Branzell, CEO of Poudre Valley Medical Group. “If we can help families and children who struggle to meet a basic need, we will. It’s a great partnership for us.”
