Service for Gus Williams Monday in Phoenix

PHOENIX – A celebration of the life of Gus Williams, who passed away
unexpectedly early Thursday morning, will be held Monday in Phoenix.

Williams, 65, was a longtime partner in Fort Collins real estate firm
Coldwell Banker-Everitt and Williams, and the senior vice president for
Coldwell Banker Residential Mortgage in Northern Colorado. He also
served as chair of the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce board and
as part of the Colorado State University’s Greater Ram Club board of
directors. He was renowned throughout Northern Colorado for his warmth,
his caring, and especially his sense of humor.

Williams had recently retired to Scottsdale with his wife, Katie. He
suffered a heart attack and stroke on Aug. 7, and was surrounded by
friends and family in his final days. He is also survived by his three
sons, Shae, Grant and Blake, and daughter Nicole.

The service will be held Aug. 15 at 3 p.m. at the Unity of Phoenix
Church, 1500 E. Greenway Parkway, Phoenix, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, the
family has asked that donations be made to The Arizona Community
Foundation, where they will use the interest yearly to support the
causes near and dear to Gus’ very great heart.
