Fastest-growing businesses honored at Mercury 100 event

FORT COLLINS – The region’s fastest-growing companies – as measured by year-over-year revenue growth — were honored May 18 at the annual Mercury 100 event hosted by the Northern Colorado Business Report.

Benchmark Electrical Solutions, a Fort Collins electrical contracting company with 25 employees, was the top company on the list, with revenue growth of 1,367 percent in 2010 over the previous year.

About 260 people attended the event, held this year at the Midtown Arts Center, 3750 S. Mason St. in Fort Collins. Guests were treated to cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment by The Dinner Theatre cast, who performed two song-and-dance numbers from their current production of “42nd Street.”
